How do I book a scooter?
Search for available scooters in your dates and location, pick the one you want, and reserve it with a ฿100 deposit. Bikes marked Instant book are confirmed as soon as you pay. For the others you send a request: the shop has up to 48 hours to accept (less for trips that start sooner), and if they don't, you're refunded in full.
What are the payment options?
You pay the ฿100 reservation deposit by card when you book. The balance is settled directly with your host when you collect the bike.
Do I need a licence to rent a scooter?
Yes. Thai law requires a motorcycle licence, and for most visitors that means an International Driving Permit with the motorcycle category endorsed, carried alongside your home licence. Riding without one can invalidate your own travel or medical insurance, and any protection bought through BikeBee.
Helmets are compulsory for the rider and every passenger.
What does damage protection cover?
Optional damage protection costs ฿1,000. Read what it does and does not cover on the damage protection page before you ride.
Can I cancel?
Yes — free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up. Cancel from your trips page and the deposit is returned to the card you paid with.
